Microphone calibration is a very common thing and issue as well. There are so many different software packages out in the market using different calibration file formats. Most of the existing cal files are in a human readable text file format, doesn't matter if the file ending is txt, cal, frd or other.
To get the most out of it, iSEMcon has developed a new calibration file format (human readable still) for use with the CPX Series microphones and together with a calibration file converter.
While each microphone comes with the individual calibration file and quality inspection report (available for download from my.isemcon.com), the free software can be downloaded from my.isemcon.as well.

The XCF calibration file format:
The eXtended Calibration File format is more than just a data file it is a complete description of your microphone purchased from iSEMcon. It gives you the capability to get the best performance setup from your iSEMcon measurement mic with respect to your measurement setup and measurememnt environment. Just convert the XCF file to the calibration file and contents of your preference and measurement situation.
